Syntax Two

As a disclaimer I mostly just free write theses it’s supposed to be a MLA formatted essay paper so I need to work side page and it’s supposed to have more than just one reference citation so this isn’t the final version of the assignment, but it’s good enough for me to turn in for now to show them that at least I’ve done something. Unfortunately this was due like a week and a half ago. I’m still trying to get caught up from late registration and getting my books and stuff.

Syntax three was due three days ago and the first draft of my midterm is due tonight

So it’s one victory today, but the war is ongoing stay vigilant

Syntax Two

30th January 2026

Synthesizing Fiere’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed, and bell hooks' Teaching Community, Teach 1 and Teach Two. The two authors are delving deeper into their individual philosophies. An aspect missing from their observations on society is that the authors do not mention that education systems were not meant to cultivate individual consciousness. Historically, the purpose of education systems was to produce workers to generate capital for investors or financiers of the students' tuition.

Educators like hooks and Fiere dwindle in numbers compared to what the people deserve and need to reverse the diaspora the oppressor created. The reality matrix in the technofeudal patriarchal capitalist racist white supremacist imperial hegemony leaks its grease and oil over everything it touches, and slowly chokes its victim until submission, endoctrenation, or hopelessness is accepted. Of course, this is the basis of their work: to put into words our shared reality, to change perspective, and to regain control of our individual cultural heritage and identities, free of oppressive chains.

In rare cases, one truly escapes the reality matrix and lives to retell their survival techniques. Many who have fled the hegemonic island and manage to publish their work get drowned out by the mass white media. In every facet of technology, the oppressed eat breadcrumbs while the oppressors feast. A contributing factor as to why their work seems to be radical compared to the hegemonic imperial white supremacist racist capitalist patriarchal technofeudal reality matrix we are continually ascribe to and connected via thousand pithing needles, and the pain we endure spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically to continue to partake in this existence. None of this speaks to the turmoil of seeing your people taken advantage of day after day. The world that the oppressor created is made in their image, inescapable wherever we turn. The living reality of the oppressed is white performative culture. Eating up so much of their time that they do not have time left for personal liberation, and in doing so, reinforcing hegemony and buying deeper into the capitalistic endoctrenation without knowing uplifting “white excellence” while still supporting the extraction of precious resources from third world countries. If the oppressed do not comply, they are seen as disturbing the norm. This is how something as simple as mowing the lawn continues the narrative. The oppressed, if they are lucky enough to be housed, will likely have a yard to maintain. The larger the lawn, the more they need to invest in maintaining it. Petroleum- or battery-powered electric tools are an option with extension cords, but regular use will require some money and time to upkeep. The oppressed need room to store these tools. Creating a more natural lawn requires extensive knowledge of local plants, birds, bees, and insects, and caring for the environment is seen as anti-colonial, as an eyesore, and as something that cannot be done in areas with organizations such as “Home Owner Associations.” Further endoctrenation and uplifting of the eurocentric performative white excellence.

Rejecting these cultural norms and investing in knowledge of local ecosystems helps combat the erosion of public lands' vital systems, thereby helping maintain a healthy planet.

It's worse for the non-male gender performers being scrutinized for not upholding Eurocentric beauty performance, which is just another system of capitalist oppression. The oppressed must also view everything through the imperial gaze, the oppressed watching the oppressor wear the culture of the oppressed and the regalia performing cultural tourism.

Any bread crumbs the oppressed received, Fiere would call false generosity. Page 44 “Unjust social order is the permanent fount of this ‘generosity,’ which is nourished by death, despair, and poverty.” While this might be a small part in the text, this is a worldwide issue. These are the sorts of reasons that make the works of the two author so important.

There is hope, hope in communities of the world, in how each one is unique and the same. There is hope in art. The key to liberation is through love, art, and war. A true warrior must know how to express love in holistic ways
